Content
Anglican churches have played a central role in the ecumenical movement of the 20th century. What was their specific contribution? What are the central theological questions in ecumenical dialogue with other denominations (both bilateral and multilateral)? How do Anglicans practise their ecumenical relationships in Germany (Meissen agreement), America, India or Africa? Is the Anglican, headed by the Archbishop of Canterbury, an ecumenical project in its own right, working (or not) for Christian unity despite various inner tensions?
The seminar is mainly (not exclusively) aimed at people up to 35 years old (student, ministerial training, first years in ministry) interested in and having some knowledge in theology, religious studies or ecumenism. Please feel free to get in touch if you are older.
Das Seminar richtet sich primär (nicht ausschließlich) an Personen bis 35 (Studium, Vikariat, erste Amtsjahre) mit Interesse und Kenntnissen im Bereich Theologie, Religion(swissenschaft) oder Ökumene. Ältere Interessierte fragen gerne an (s.u.).
